Virtual Youth Writing Workshop

Are you a teenager who dreams of becoming a published writer?
Is songwriting a passion for a young person you know?
Do you have a child who could benefit from engaging in creative writing as a means of self-discovery?
Join this live workshop where we will address all three topics in one session! Each segment will be spotlighted for 15 minutes (10 minutes for interactive engagement with a brief 5-minute Q&A period).
After the workshop, each participant will also have the opportunity to share any writing projects, work samples, or ideas via email and we will offer advice/suggestions/help offline throughout the duration of Black Children’s Book Week.
