It’s a fictional book!!  \nFiction Saves the Day! celebrates local authors\, who write fictional books for children\, in honor of Black Children’s Book Week 2024. We will highlight the works of 5 authors local to the Washington\, DC metro area and one online book boutique through storytimes\, activities and meet-and-greets with the authors! This event is free to attend and open to the general public.  \nBlack Children’s Books DMV+\, founded in 2021\, is a community based organization that supports local black children’s authors and creatives in black literature in the DC metro area through events and live conversations.
