Black Children’s Book Storytime

In honor of Black Children’s Book Week 2024, we are hosting a kick-off event featuring an engaging read-aloud session. This event aims to celebrate and amplify Black stories, authors, and illustrators, providing a platform for children to connect with diverse narratives that reflect their experiences and identities.

During this event, we will have the opportunity to explore Bakari Sellers’ “Who are your people?” and Ciara and Russell Wilson’s “Why not you?” Through the interactive read-aloud session, we will journey into captivating stories that inspire, educate, and empower young minds.
