Black History Month Book Drive

In support of the inaugural Black Children’s Book Week (BCBW) February 27, 2022 – March 5, 2022 the Kappa Sigma NYC Alumnae chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.  will be hosting a book drive for children ages 1-17 years old.  The goal of BCBW is to purchase and donate culturally representative books that celebrate minority children and the creators who make sure they are represented in books and other children’s media.  Sorors and participants may donate books from the Kappa Sigma Book Drive attention soror Jazmin McBride.  Books ordered from the amazon list should be delivered no later than February 22, 2022.
