A Tale of Two Lizzies” is a virtual read aloud event.
Join Dr. Liz and KP Carter, The Literacy Whisperer for a lively afternoon of reading, music, and fun!
Dr. Liz will share her Little Lizzy series for readers ages 3-7. She helps children develop reading and life goals and practice daily affirmations. Dr. Liz will discuss how developing goals and saying daily affirmations helped her family reach its goals.
KP Carter’s Lizzie B. Hayes series is just right for readers ages 8-12. She weaves historical fiction, family love, and courage through her chapter books about life in Newark, NJ during the 60’s and 70’s. She will read excerpts from the series and share music from the civil rights era.
