Black Children’s Book Week: Story Time Series & Author Event at Three Avenues Bookshop

Three Avenues Bookshop is hosting a special story time series to celebrate Black Children’s Book Week! During our story time series, we will read some of our favorite books featuring Black children by Black authors. The grand finale of our story time series will include a special author story time with local Chicagoland author, Malcolm Newsome! Malcolm is a Black children’s book author who just came out with a new book called Sydney’s Big Speech, which he will be reading on Saturday, March 2.
