Children’s Book Huddle with I Like Being Me Books

We’re a group based in Toronto, Canada that hosts monthly book huddles for adults who love children’s books! To celebrate Black Children’s Book Week we are hosting a Book Huddle centered on the children’s book “I Like Being Me.” Our events are enjoyable and safe space for authors and readers to share their favourite children’s books!

About Our Book Huddles:
Our Children’s Book Huddle meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. We discuss the themes of featured books and how they relate to Black History, culture, and lived experiences. Several of the attendees are authors. But this is not a prerequisite to participating. As a matter of fact, people have been inspired to write as a result of their being a part of the group. We would like to extend the invitation globally for others to join the Huddle.
