Join New Worlds Reading Regional Partner, the Phyllis Wheatley Rise to Read Campaign, for a fun-filled literacy event celebrating Black Children’s Book Week.

The event takes place at the Enoch Davis Recreation Center which is located at 1111 18th Ave. S.

New Worlds Reading is the first-of-its-kind state program that helps eligible Florida students in VPK through fifth grade grow their home libraries and encourage a love of reading with monthly deliveries of free books and activities.

Black Children’s Book Week is a global celebration of Black children and the people who ensure Black children are represented in books and other children’s media.
