Minneapolis, MN- Detangled & Delivered: A Celebration of Black Books & Culture is a family literacy event hosted by Love My Natural at Sumner Library on Monday, February 24, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Inspired by the journey of natural hair, this event highlights the power of reading, self-love, and cultural identity. Through read-alouds, storytelling circles, live hair demonstrations, and discussions on representation in literature, attendees will explore the connections between history, heritage, and the stories that shape us. Free and open to the public, this event is an opportunity for families, educators, and the community to engage in authentic storytelling and celebrate the richness of Black literature.
