Theresa Smith- Hickman’s children’s book, I Can… Just Try!, is about a young girl named Terri who thought she could not do anything because she was just too little. She wouldn’t even try until one day her attitude shifted. Terri learned the power of saying “I Can” by just trying.
In celebration of Black Children’s Book Week, please join Author Theresa Smith-Hickman for story time, as she reads her children’s book, I Can… Just Try!
She will host two events during the week: Wednesday, March 1, 2023, and Saturday, March 4, 2023.
