Storytime In The Galleries
Join author Alexus Mozell, creator of the Amir the Affirmation King series, at the Bowers Museum for a special storytime celebrating Black History Month and Black Children’s Book Week.
I Know I Can Too is an inspiring collection of affirmations that encourages young girls to dream big and believe in themselves. Featuring influential Black women—from lawyers to pilots—the book highlights powerful role models who show that any dream is possible.
Held on the last Saturday of each month, Storytime in the Galleries includes a free copy of the featured book (while supplies last), complimentary general admission to the galleries, and a fun, hands-on art activity following the reading.
