Bios
Terry Hamm is a Howard University graduate and owner of Kindred Stories, Houston’s premier Black bookstore.
Tonya Duncan Ellis is author of the best selling Sophie Washington children’s chapter series for kids ages 8-12. Tonya is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Authors Guild, Black Creators in KidLit, and the Brown Bookshelf’s HighlightsFoundation-sponsored, Amplify Black Stories storyteller cohort.
