This presentation will discuss what giftedness is, how to identify if your child may be gifted, ways to support your child if they are, and external resources and programs to help cultivate that brainpower! Even if your child is not labeled “gifted” at school, this information can still be powerful as we aim to give space and light for education to thrive. All grade levels are welcome!
Brief Facilitator Bio: Bri Smocks has earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Education, and a Master of Educational Leadership . She also holds a Principal certification along with teacher certifications for Gifted and Talented, English, and English as a Second Language. Her latest accomplishment has been taking on the role of Editor in Chief for Levi&Toonk.
