Black Children’s Book Week – Read Aloud

Celebrate Black Children’s Book Week with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Beta Rho Omega Chapter! This fun-filled event will feature stories, poems, and excerpts from works by Black children’s authors. Children ages pre-K to 12th grade are invited to join us!

Bring a book, get a book: attendees (ages pre-K to 18) will receive a free book. We are also collecting books for donations throughout the community.

Black Children’s Book Week is is a global celebration of Black children and the people who ensure Black children are represented in books and other children’s media.
