Grandma’s Couch Presents Drag Queen Story Hour with the iconic Stormie Daie! In collaboration with the LGBT Center of Raleigh, VAE Raleigh will be hosting this free virtual reading event for children of all ages. Revisit African-American children’s stories that may be new to some and an old friend to others.

This storytime is hosted in conjunction with VAE Raleigh’s current exhibition, CREATING A HOME, NOT AN EMPIRE. Curated by Collaborative Curatorial Fellow, Alyssa Cuffie, this show explores black family storytelling and the ways we revisit our past.
