Reading Party at Hercules Library

Join your friends at Hercules Library for a reading party to celebrate Black Children’s Book Week! Bring a book of your own or choose one from our display of books featuring Black characters. Stay and read a while, then take home a book to keep forever from our special giveaway.
Black Children’s Book Week (starting on the last Sunday in February every year) is a global celebration of Black children and the people who ensure Black children are represented in books and other children’s media.
